Grosvenor Engineering Group Acquires Computer Air Service

Grosvenor Engineering Group announces acquisition of Computer Air Services effective 1st August 2012.

Kingsgrove, NSW (July 16th 2012) - In an industry where good news stories are thin on the ground, Grosvenor Engineering Group is quickly emerging as a major player in the Australian HVAC market. With many HVAC service providers down-sizing or disappearing altogether, Grosvenor Engineering Group continues to execute its national growth strategy off the back of strong, organic growth in revenue.

Evidence of the company’s aspirations to become a national HVAC service provider can be found in Grosvenor Engineering Group’s announcement that it will acquire Computer Air Services on the 1st August 2012. As a result of this acquisition, all locations previously trading as Computer Air Services will commence trading as Grosvenor Engineering Group.

Nicholas Lianos, Managing Director of Grosvenor Engineering Group, remains in that role after the acquisition. David Hoskins, who had held the position of Managing Director at Computer Air Services, will assume the role of National Business Development Manager in the expanded Grosvenor Engineering Group.

“In these hard economic times, Grosvenor Engineering Group is excited to complete this very positive acquisition of another successful HVAC provider. Two strong performing companies have now joined to provide additional value-add across our existing and future client base,” Grosvenor’s Managing Director, Nicholas Lianos said.

From 1 August 2012 Grosvenor Engineering Group will be able to provide the full range of HVAC services to all Eastern states, with the merged businesses providing the company with an established base in Queensland, in addition to the existing branches in New South Wales, Victoria and the Australian Capital Territory.

David Hoskins, who was one of the previous owners of Computer Air Services said, “We see this merger as a great fit for the two companies, as we collectively increase our capabilities and foot print, but we retain our ability to continue to offer a personal approach to our clients.

Grosvenor is second to none in the asset management space. Their approach to auditing, reporting, CAPEX planning and focus on proactive maintenance provides customers with significant ROI advantages. Existing Computer Air Services customers will directly benefit from the specific HVAC expertise, methodologies and technology available from Grosvenor Engineering Group.”

Grosvenor Engineering Group is an industry leader in HVAC services, with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Wollongong, Newcastle, Tamworth and Coffs Harbour.
